I have already posted this video some months ago, but I noticed that only 13 people had watched it because its not on Youtube, so I wanted to give it special focus. This is one of the best videos we have ever shot, bar none. Denis Hayes talks about why info tech beat green tech in the 80's and here we are in the same position as then with cool new technologies and falling oil prices trying to squash our progress.
As the founder of Victory Gasworks his presentation hit me hard and it also let me know we are on the right track as a growing community. Victory is really the blending of info & green tech with an approachable and innovative way of reaching people and allowing them to participate in this green revolution.
Enjoy the video and think about what innovative revenue models you think Victory should employ to grow and give value to you it's member.
The store is the best idea I have seen anywhere for a revenue model. It has the potential for becoming the "hardware store" of the wood gasification world.
Gasifier supplies are not goods that can be procured anywhere.
Does it cost much to offer goods there?
Me, being a newbie to Victory Gasworks, only found the site by surfing youtube for a video a friend referred me to. After watching his video, I clicked on your video, right next to his.
The most gasifier discussion activity I've seen anywhere is in http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/WoodGas/
Many Victory Gasworks members are working hard in this group to advance gasification success .
There are more people out there working to replace petroleum than we know.
