Like Coal, Gas, or Oil, it is always the storage and release of energy, wood is the same as any other stored resource, My lord and Savior Jesus Christ had mentioned this some 2500 years ago, in the pages of the Gospels, of Mathew and Like, Have you not considered the Lilies of the field, they neither toil or spin, but that are adorned better then King Solomon, and all of his apparel, But as he continues, are cast into the oven or fire.... I believe Jesus the God of all creation, and it that is true then he must of known something about this renewing or renewable fuels, the conversion of photosynthesis to usable energy stored in plant matter. This stored food, energy or calories, to understandable BTU's to Kilowatts.
These productive plants of stored solar energy, now are mobile, and manageable, whether it be piles of fire wood for winter, or the collection of daily cooking, to building products and animal feeds. The simple biology of a producer, God calls himself the BREAD OF LIFE, what a term for himself, but that is exactly what plants are bread, a collection or collection(s) of assorted sugars or bread, that a wide variety of bacteria as well as other plants and animals use to sustain themselves.
We ferment, boil, bake, and process all sorts of these sugars, lignins, cellulose, Xylose, glucose, and fructose to just name a few, can freeze, dry and store for use in or at a later time.
We now are converting this waste products now to usable energy which we store for later use, but if we compare the volume of BTU to that of Coal, Gas or Oil, we will require massive volumes of land. Horrendous quantitative immense land masses had been devastated in exceptional numbers to have the resources or coal, oil, and natural gas. Millions of square miles of land of lush vegetation to form the coal reserves this nation and others have. Billions of gallons of water filled with countless varieties of plankton and other fatty tissued plants and animals, to form the natural gas pockets and oil reservoirs deep below the oceans.
As we look at the past we should realize all time at some point to anther has an end, and with it a new beginning, but with each new beginning resources move and become smaller, and many never recover.
This same God who explains science, tells of how the end of this time will be, and the cause of its devastation. This a a globe will be rearranged as we know it, totally plowed under. The word most used is routed and run through. This would sound like an unloving god to do this, but is for those whom does not read and understand, it is for those whom reject the laws and mercies of a Loving God, as it is no different as a policeman or judge sentencing a thief or murder, or having to pay a fine fore some wrong doing.
Jesus said all this will happen when those whom are in charge of all things, the wicked of those whom are suppose the protection, and those whom expect protection, sell themselves to one another, and declare peace and safety, a time when Godly faith and Godly behavior, will be evil, and the expression of ones faith will be vile and counter to the laws of the land. I believe that those who murder with malice should be put to death, but in so doing salvation of ones soul and repentance that one would the right before God, there creator. We all will die, and time does have an end.
What does all of this have to do with energy, all power comes from God, but it is by our own hearts and minds how we intend to use that energy. The recovery of waste, and redirecting that energy is a good and Godly thing. To select rules as to who is going to do it, why they are allowed to do it, when it is to take place, and to what it is that is to be done, and how much is to be done at the cost of lives. This places freedom in a box and the mind and innovation in prison. Solar, wind, as primary sorces of power, will indeed eat the ecconomic base of this country. Natural Gas, this is one of the fastest regrowth natural resorces we have, 98 % of natural gas is methane, the byproduct of digestion and decay. Who is that out there that claims this to be a greenhouse gas, pure foolishness, CH4 the cleanest gas byproduct, the carbon dioxide ? a hazard to the earth, this is very unlikely also.
It is clear spoken of in the bible as well as other sources of science, the the earth potential of mass destruction would come from space, volcanoes and earthquakes, and bacteria or a red algae, to finally the moral Godly corruption of the evil in the hearts of mankind. This evil teaches to worship the creation not the creator who provided a way out of this destructive time.
