Northeast Gasifiers Barbecue: aka Beamer's Bash

Eric (Beamer) Schrack is continuing the legacy of fine food, friends and fire by hosting his own gasifier barbecue to be held on 8-15-09. Sure to be more fun than you can shake a woodchunk at.

Hello everyone,

This is going to be a great time. I have the Beamer Bash every year around my birthday. Last year it was pretty big, at least too big for my acre. I'm pretty sure on the location, but, I don't want to post it untill it's booked.

I will definitely have my unit there. I'm hoping to have some of my new designs that I have had a chance to work on much lately. The one I will have for sure is going to have us cooking the food on woodgas.

The event will start at 12:00, noon. I'll be setting up then. We'll have the barbecue, bullshit, tip a few elbows, shake a few hands, and GASIFY EVERY DAMN THING WE CAN FIND!!!

Around 6:00-7:00, we'll start gettin' loose as the Beamer Bash gets underway.

There will be all kinds of good music, good drink, and good people. My wife and kids will be there, yours are welcome too. This will be a good time for everyone. A little later in the evening, maybe not for the youngins. But there will be somewhere for them to go, have fun, and fall asleep if need be. I have to check, but, I think tents might be okay.

I can't post the location, but, here's help with trip planning. The best places to book your stay will be: Blairsville, Pa; Indiana, Pa; Johnstown, Pa; or Ebensburg, Pa. The closest are Blairsville and Indiana, they are within an hour of Pittsburgh airport and 30 minutes from the location of the barbecue.
