Gave up on my GEK and been having fun gasifing out of lay around junk operator training.Takes a good variable speed fan/vacumn and some thought. My wife needs some help taking one of her oldest Quaraplegic cliants to the coast for one last time the week of your barbeque so you will have to count me out this year.

At 8:29pm on May 10, 2009, Taylor said…: Hi Beamer-Still around. Moved this past week back out to the country. I watched Luc with his gasifier and the flame popped in several times. Developed about twice the heat with the wood gas compared to a 20 gal. propane tank. Really intense heat. Will need heavy walled stainless. With pure wood gas, just a secondary air input would be the only thing needed. And maybe a bypass on the wood gas to allow for turning the joe pipe down to light. Would make for a extreemly large volume of super heated exhausted at 2, 000 F. Enough energy to heat a large shop or make a steam powered turbine. I'll try to stay in touch more that I'm getting settled in. Sure do admire your work. J.

That's awesome!!!! Did you get a chance to run the genny on it yet or are you still having fun with flaring off the gas? Great photos thanks for sharing. Do you have any good pics of your ejector?
