Victory Gasworks- Gasifiers and Wood Gasification

Has anybody here tried using Waste Mineral Oil as a fuel in a gasifier? We are looking at ways to clean up [ unburnt hydrocarbon ] pollution in a waste oil fired furnace.
I am thinking about using ceramic stones [ BBQ ] in the hearth and maybe some sort of stainless steel shavings [ turnings ] in the upper pyrolysis zone.
One advantage of WMO is a continous fuel feed that can be monitored [ plus I have an endless supply ]
If approx 3% hydrated lime is mixed with the feedstock, it will remove all the sulphurs out of the gas [ into the ash ]
Any thoughts / suggestions / advice would be appreciated
